Obesity – How It Effects Children’s Lives

11322008146_houston-tx-routine-physicals-3.jpgObesity is the number one silent killer in the United States, the unfortunate thing is that most people and children especially don’t even realize that they are obese until they are suffering medical issues because of it. Some of the medical conditions stem from shortness of breath, high sugar levels, high blood pressure, stomach problems and there are many more.

Obese children are effected in many ways from obesity, it is not just a physical condition like most people think. This condition will affect them physically, mentally, emotional, and spiritually if it get out of control. The fact of it is every part of their life will suffer an impact from their obese condition in honest reality.

The very first and most noticed area they will be effected is the physical aspect of things such as sports or outside activities, they will not be able to perform physical activates as average weight children do and when that happens they are made fun of and harassed by the other children and the other children don’t want them to participate in sporting activities any longer. So they give up on doing physical activities all together and start to isolate and keep to themselves.

This brings us to the mental state where they are now at, they are starting to be hard on themselves not wanting to do the physical activities because they have tried and were ridiculed for it by others and put down. they start to doubt if they will ever amount to anything in life which makes they isolate even more and avoid people all together.

This brings us to the next stage of the obesity situation which is the emotional area were the child that is obese is filled with fear and has a negative attitude about themselves. They have all of their emotions running wild and most likely won’t talk about it even if they are to be confronted, they will say everything is ok on the outside but on the inside they are hurting so bad they don’t know what to do so they avoid friends, family, and authority figures at school and isolate even father.

Now that they have gone through all that they start to slipping depression they look down at themselves as a failure they might not talk much they might start eating more to hide the pained they are feeling. They feel sorry for themselves and at that point they feel like such an outcast they just walk around like a lost soil slipping father into depression well out of the reach of others.

Everything I have methane makes up the spiritual making of every person and when an obese child gets to this point their spirit is lost the don’t feel like they should have been born and they don’t understand why it is happening to them and they look for help but usually won’t say anything because they are so far gone they feel like a lost soul, alone and unique, kind of like they are being punished.

The very last thing that I must touch upon I suicide, if you take all of the items I have mention and add the up it is some time to big of a burden to carry and without help the outcome is very bad in some cases so if you happen to notice a change in your child’s attitude or daily activities, or the start to isolate then please confront them until you get it out of them. So those are the ways that obese children are affected by this silent killer and unfortunately it is a long process that sometimes goes unnoticed until it is too late. So watch closely if your child is obese for the early warning signs I have mentioned and those are only a few.

Very early signs of pregnancy – are there 10 pregnancy signs? Yes, there are signs that indicate very early that you are pregnant. Some women will experience one or two of them, others will have several of the very early signs of pregnancy. Once you have conceived, it will take about a week for the fertilized egg to implant in the uterus. As implantation happens, it’s now possible to experience one or more of the 10 pregnancy signs and begin to know you are pregnant. Around this time, hormone levels begin to change, and the body reacts to these new hormone levels.

Here are 10 pregnancy signs:

1. Light Spotting – if you have conceived, spotting can happen when implantation occurs before your menstrual period should begin. Pregnancy bleeding from implantation is pinkish or brownish and not heavy. A normal menstrual flow should begin light, become heavy, then taper off again before ending.

2. More Frequent Urination – urinating more often is one of the very early signs of pregnancy. Many women experience more frequent urination even before a missed period, usually from about 7-12 days after the temperature rise at ovulation. The changes in hormone levels produced by implantation of the embryo, especially the hormone “human chorionic gonadotropin” (hCG), cause more frequent urination.

3. Elevated Body Temperature – it’s normal to have an increase in body temperature at ovulation. Your basal body temperature staying elevated after ovulation is completed and remaining elevated through when your period should begin can be one of the very early signs of pregnancy.

4. Missing a Menstrual Period – a missed period is one of the obvious 10 pregnancy signs. However, you can miss a period for other reasons including illness, stress, hormone imbalance and reactions to foods or medications. If your menstrual cycle normally occurs very regularly, missing a period can be a sign.

5. Fatigue – lack of energy as one of the very early signs of pregnancy may be hard to distinguish from other kinds of exhaustion. Feeling tired is related to the change in hormones in the body, which usually disappears as the body adjusts to the new hormone levels.

6. Cramping – the uterus can contract often and regularly. Moving around, exercise and orgasm all can trigger uterine cramping in early pregnancy.

7. Nausea – morning sickness is the name given to feeling nauseated when pregnant. Of the 10 pregnancy signs, only about half of pregnant women experience nausea, and feeling nauseated can happen any time of the day or night.

8. Tender Nipples and Breasts – one of the very early signs of pregnancy is a feeling of tenderness in the breasts and nipples. The good news is that these feelings of tenderness go away as the body becomes accustomed to the new hormone levels.

9. Darker Areolas – the area around the nipples becomes darker as early as one week after conception. The bumps on the areolas may look more prominent.

10. Constipation – you may notice a change in your bowels in early pregnancy. The intestines may relax and function less due to changing hormones and be one of the 10 pregnancy signs.

Once the very early signs of pregnancy are experienced, confirm pregnancy by using one of the better home pregnancy tests. There are major differences in the reliability of the home tests for pregnancy. A blood pregnancy test can be accurate as early as 8 to 10 days after conception, and a urine pregnancy test can be accurate as early as 10 to 14 days following conception. Pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate. If you feel you are pregnant but your pregnancy test result is negative, do the test again in a week or so and see your physician.

Remember to take good care of your body even before you become pregnant. Give up smoking and alcohol, eat healthy and begin exercising. Those first few weeks and your health are vitally important to help support healthy development of your new baby. Becoming pregnant and enjoying a successful pregnancy is a complex but wonderful experience. Besides knowing the 10 pregnancy signs, learn as much as you can about fertility, pregnancy and your health so your new baby will have the very best beginning to life that is possible.

Effects of Stem Cell Therapy on The Body And Skin

21322008145_houston-tx-echocardiograms-2.jpgWhat is a stem cell therapy?

A stem cell therapy is a type of intervention wherein introduction of new cells to damaged tissues is observed to treat a disease or injury. As for the stem cell therapy itself, it is still at an experimental note that can be very costly and needs some medical transplantation as that of bone marrow transplant. Before a stem cell therapy can be conducted, thorough research over a person’s condition is needed before performing any transplants and the lik

The effects of stem cell generally, can be likened to that of chemotherapy. A person undergoing this kind of therapy is taking the same drugs on higher doses therefore the side effects can also be severe. The side effects can also be worse on the first few weeks but will start to lessen the moment your blood count starts to rise back up again.

Although there are some people who still have children after a transplant has been performed, there are those who after a long run have experienced infertility as a side effect of stem cell therapy. GVHD or graft versus host disease can also be a side effect of stem cell therapy which can be passed from a bone marrow transplant. Since a donor, who can either be a relative or another person carries out cells found in the donor’s immune system. The cells present in the person’s body will recognize the other’s cells to be foreign and would begin to attack them. The follow are some of the signs exhibited by a person who has undergone transplant and has incurred GVHD:
DiarrheaWeight lossShortness of breathingSkin Rash
After the transplant and you have developed GVHD, your doctor will give you medications to lower down the effects. You have to remember that undergoing a stem cell therapy can have you restricted from going out and getting directly exposed under the sun since it can give you skin rashes.

There also positive effects of stem cell therapy which is noted to leading humanity to a closer remedy to diseases that has been killing thousands over a year. These diseases include:
Parkinson’s DiseaseAlzheimer’s DiseaseHeart Diseases, Stroke and Diabetes (Type 1)Birth DefectsSpinal Cord InjuriesReplace or Repair Damaged OrgansReduced Risk of Transplantation Stem cells may play a major role in cancer
Although much debate has been argued on whether or not the use of skin cell therapy should continue, better treatments of the above mentioned diseases can aid the society as well as promote economic betterment. However, the issue of ethical values being stepped on as one tries to kill a cell to be able to replace it is the hot issue to tackle on getting a stem cell therapy. It raised the issue hotter when stem cell therapy pushed on to using embryonic stem cells which requires getting a fertilized egg of a woman the moment it has met with a man’s sperm from a group of forming cells, the very reason of the ethical issue debates on stem cell therapy.

Now, if you are to go over getting a stem cell therapy, it is always best to consider the pros and cons before engaging in one. Consulting a doctor specializing in this field can help you get enlightened with the idea.
